Service Description
*Note- you may enroll any time! If you enroll mid-class, you will be able to make up sessions during our next round of manners classes. This isn't your traditional obedience class! We've designed a manners course that helps your family work with your pup in Real-Life situations such as: Meeting & Greeting people and other dogs Downtime at home Walking in the neighborhood Going to the veterinarian Dinnertime etiquette Walking in the park Whether you’re starting with a new dog, or want to get on a better path with your old friend, this six-week class will get you well on your way. This is the kind of training that’s so fun, your dog won’t even realize it’s actually work! We’ll get you all set up with management techniques and show you how to get your dog to follow your lead. We’ll still cover the traditional obedience behaviors such as: Sit & down Watch (attention on you) Come when called Loose-leash walking Leave it & drop Stay & wait Settle/self-control Management & exercise tips *To graduate, you must attend each of the 6 themed sessions. If you are unable to attend during the 6-week schedule, no problem! We offer two sessions of the same class each week. Not able to attend either option that week? Still not a problem! We will sign you up for the missed session during the next round of classes. At PGC, the entire family is welcome and encouraged to attend! At the end of this course, your pup will have the opportunity to take our AKC Canine Good Citizen test to earn an official certification.
